Today was an interesting experience. After changing my plan back to the 5&1 with added protein on the days I do serious exercise (Zumba), today was my first day back to a Zumba class. Oiy. It was not easy. I could tell that my body wasn't the same and couldn't handle as much, but that is to be expected. They tell people to cut back on exercise the first few weeks. A little harder when you are the instructor. Good thing I was only a student today and taught a few songs as a guest. We will see what next week brings when I have to teach my own classes for the first time on the 5&1. I definitely took my coach's advice and added a little protein to my meal just after the class. It helped.
Here's what I ate today:
EXERCISE: 60 min High Intensity
WATER: 2 cups
7:30 MF SHAKE Dutch Chocolate. First time not using ice and didn't let it sit as long. It was fine, but I will use ice from now on.
10:30 MF BAR Cinnamon Roll Crunch. Pleasantly surprised. I liked it.
12:30 MF ZITI and 1/4 Protein. I really like the Ziti.
3:30 MF BAR? Can't remember.
7:00 LEAN AND GREEN: Two new recipes. 1/2 serv. Cauliflower Bread Sticks and a small Salmon. All very tasty. (My kids wouldn't eat any of it though. Sad)
