Now that we have changed my plan, I am feeling a slight difference. I find myself longing for the next meal time and drooling over the snacks in my kid's hands. Just don't look at it (I tell myself). However, I am still going strong and already feel better about myself. I had to weigh in at my spouse's work as part of an incentive to "Lose/Maintain...not gain over the holidays." Happy to say I have lost quite a few pounds already and am really excited. Looking forward to what the rest of the month brings me. I know the first few days of a new diet always kicks a few lbs off of me and then I slow down... so I am not getting too excited. But here's to staying on plan.
Here's what I ate today:
WATER: 12 cups of water (always a feat for me)
10:30 MF SMOOTHIE. I woke up super late and that may have helped me not be too hungry throughout the day. The smoothie was great and it even inspired my children to have a berry/banana smoothie instead of sugary cereal. I'm liking this new enticement for my children!
1:30 MF VEGETABLE CHILI. I have to soak the hearty meals for at least an hour to make it look like something edible, but when I do, they are actually very tasty. This one was no exception. It's not my homemade chili, but it is something I can eat that's warm and satisfying.
4:00 MF PRETZEL BITES. These were a surprise. I did not expect these to be filling or really that satisfying and I was so happy when I put the first one in my mouth and bit down. Wow. The crunch was something I was excited to embrace. I will definitely buy these in the future.
7:00 LEAN AND GREEN. Made the chicken perfectly. It was very moist and it made all the difference for the overall salad. The dressing is a new favorite. Light and simple so I can enjoy the rest of the items in the meal. I'm glad I made it for the whole family, because my baby girl insisted on eating off my plate. Portion control was hard, but I managed.
9:00 MF BAR. I am so glad they have chocolate items on this diet. I always love a "treat" late at night and this program lets me do that.
OH NO. REALIZED THERE ARE ONLY FIVE MEALS. Guess waking up late DOESN'T have it's perks.....
11:15pm Was still up so got my last MF Bar in for the day.
