Everyday is a learning experience for me when it comes to this program, but that is true for anything new that is undertaken. Today I learned that onions are NOT on the "Green" list but are actually on the condiment list because of their natural sugar and high carb content. Darn. Luckily I learned before making my meal that they were not on the list.
Here's what I ate today.
9:00 MF SMOOTHIE Berry
11:15 MF BAR Peanut Butter Chocolate. This is one of my top two bars. Mmmm.
2:30 MF ZITI (Soaked for 1.5 hours first) Always better that way
5:00 LEAN AND GREEN Eggs green beans and mushrooms. I am discovering that most of my favorite veggies are either not on the list or are one of the HIGHER carbohydrate options allowed.
7:00 MF BAR Chocolate.
9:00 MF BAR Caramel Nut Maintenance Bar (of course there's only one in each serving). Very tasty and I needed a little something to savor this evening.
