I am loving today. I went to teach a Zumba class today and I wasn't tired or weak at all. I am in love with the Take Shape for Life Program. If you are looking for something new, you should really give this program some attention.
Here's what I ate today:
8:30 MF PANCAKES Left over from yesterday's experiment. Still yummy.
11:00 MF BAR S'mores
1:30 MF SMOOTHIE. Pineapple Mango. Added way more ice and it became an awesome frozen dessert of sorts. Was hard to keep my kids out of my bowl.
3:00 MF BAR (Can't remember which one)
7:00 MF BAR Cinnamon Roll Crunch - I always feel like this is a breakfast option, so it throws me off when I have one later in the day.
9:30 LEAN AND GREEN Spaghetti with tofu noodles. Yeah. It was so good to have a comfort food today. The sauce was made from cans of diced tomatoes (pureed in blender) with several spices. That's it. My husband was amazed that I concocted that myself. It was super yummy. It is a full serving of a lean and green with 1 1/2 cups sauce, 2.5 oz hamburger meat, and 8 oz tofu noodles. Overall it was a little TOO much as far as filling foods. Couldn't finish the whole thing and opted to eat a little cottage cheese to finish out my lean portion. The noodles were just slightly chewier than regular noodles and after I was "full" I could really tell a difference. Other than that, this will be something I make again from time to time.
