I will mention that I did a great meal plan for the first three days before starting... so it's been easy so far. My coach started me on the 4 & 2 plan since I do heavy Zumba for 60 minutes several times a week. However we are both wondering if it is the best option for me since I only do it 2-3 days a week. We will see. For now, I am not struggling and I've discovered a few things... like CARROTS ARE NOT A GREEN. I also learned that trying to get in between 2-3 hours is not always easy when you do activities that take two hours (temple) or preparation takes longer than you expect. Darn. Here are the meals I had today.
8:30 MF PANCAKES. They smell awesome, but the flavor was eh. I didn't use any syrup with them (cause I couldn't find it), but I will definitely HAVE to have syrup the next time I make pancakes.
10:30 MF Chocolate Mint Crunch Bar (so heavenly)
1:30 LEAN AND GREEN. Leftover Sunday Bake Brunch. Really like this option.. . And extra veggies from the crock pot (for dinner tonight). Sat down and realized the carrots are not a green.... so my daughter happily ate most of them.
3:40 MF COOKIE...don't love them. They are kind of weird. Will look for ideas on how to make them better, or recipes that use them for something totally different.
7:30 LEAN AND GREEN (Roast recipe from Jacquie's email this week....very tasty) I made some different greens than the ones pictured above, because I don't really love cooked celery).
10:30 MF ZITI MARINARA: Not bad. I definitely had it soaking in water for 2 hours to ensure it was all saturated first. I think it makes a BIG difference.
